| To Listen to Pressure Radio you need a Realplayer (Recommended) or a Winamp. These are programs that are used to decode the digital information and play the sound to you. Both Programs you can download for FREE on the chat Page or visit realplayer.com or even winamp.com. Have you got an Apple Mac..? You can listen using Macamp! Please visit mac.org to download. For users of Linux, please visit xmms.org For users using Windows Media Player. Unfortunately only certain versions of media player work with our stream, although Windows Media Player version 9 works fine. Please visit windowsmedia.com for information and download. All the various Media Players you may have on your PC will all try and be the default player for certain media types (e.g Mpeg / Mp3). Pressure broadcasts via a .pls file. You will need to go into the options for the MEDIA player you want to use and set that to be the default for MP3 (MPEG layer 3) files, then when you click on the pressure link it will automatically fire up your player, connect and start playing. If this still doesn't work then copy and paste the following link into your media player. (where it says open or open URL) Note: If your usng Microsoft Windows Media Player then use the following link. If you have a low end connection to the Internet (e.g Dialup) then you may experience the music skipping or cutting out. To overcome this go into your players options and make the Buffer longer, this should help. Sometime soon I will be adding a Questions and Answers section on this page, so email me with your suggestions/ideas on this topic. |

| Chatroom | |
| The chatroom Requires JAVA to be installed, click here to install. We have had reports of Windows XP users unable to access the chatroom, this is because of a missing feature (Fault) in windows XP, by default it doesn't come pre-installed with java on this operating system (os). If you think you have already got it installed then I suggest you take the following steps to double check. 1. From Internet Explorer select TOOLS then OPTIONS. 2. Now click the ADVANCED tab (top right) 3. Scroll down the list until you see a heading called "Microsoft VM" 4. Below this, tick the box next to "JAVA CONSOLE ENABLED" (Note: You will need to reboot if you have ticked it) Its worth knowing that Java is used all over the web, so its worth having. If this is the first time you have run the Chatroom applet (chat virgin!), you will be presented with a popup containing a digital certificate requesting permission to run (this is a Internet Explorer digital certificate window). Please check the "Always trust content from JPilot Software Company" checkbox and press the 'YES' button. If you do not do this you will not be able to chat correctly, if at all!!. (note: the certificate window will look different for different browsers) Click here to view a pic of the certificate. The chat room is IRC (Internet Chat Relay) based so you can enter it via an IRC external program (such as MIRC) if you don't use MIRC and dont know what it is then you can ignore this section. Download Mirc by clicking and select save from the following ftp server ftp.newnet.co.uk. Download the Invision Script from invision.lebyte.com. Click and select save from the following url invision.demihost.com/i2b2418.exe. IRC Server: Milwaukee.us.chattersonline.com or LasVegas.us.chattersOnline.com if that don't work use the IP: 66.252.12.192 & Port: 8180 Channel #pressure |
